Procedure for Initiating a Transfer Request
  • Transfer requests are accepted annually in the Student Services office beginning on the second Tuesday in February until the second Tuesday in May of each year. 
  • Transfer request form must state the specific reason(s) for the transfer in order to be considered.
  • Once completed, the transfer request form must be printed (if completing online), signed and delivered to the Student Services office at 807 W. Glenwood. 
  • Transfer request form must be received in the Student Services office within the specified timeline for consideration.
  • Incomplete transfer request forms will not be processed. 
  • Notification of the decision for a transfer request will be communicated in writing by June 15. 
  • Approved transfer recipients will receive an approval letter from the Student Services office.
  • Approved transfer recipients must have an approval letter in order to complete the registration process at the requested school.
  • Registration process must be completed prior to the first day of school in order to guarantee placement. 
  • Transfer students are not eligible for district transportation to or from school.
